❖ Gracie Willows is a P.A. scholar at the age of seventeen, and looks a lot like Ashley Benson.

Baby, Hollywood is dead, you can find it in yourself.

❖ Information

Little Gracie Willows had the dream to become famous, always strutting around in her mother’s high heels that were way too big for her tiny feet. The blonde would dress up every day after school, pretending to be someone she wasn’t, because that was what she did best: playing a role. Her mother didn’t help her out of the fantasy she was a big actress, always letting her do what she wanted, because it was one of the few happy things she had in her life. She simply couldn’t crush her daughter’s dreams and pull her back into the world that was filled with pain and sorrow.

The Willows’ never have been wealthy, not even before Gracie’s father walked out of the door and with that, out of her life. She hasn’t seen him since she was seven years old, and doesn’t want to anymore either—or that’s what she claims. Secretly she still misses having him around, but that’s something she keeps to herself. As Gracie grew up, she started to understand more and more of the situation her family was in. Her mother worked three jobs, causing the girl having to learn to take care of herself at a young age. It was hard on both of them, but they managed as long as they had each other.

Last year, Gracie found out about Grande Academy and was absolutely ecstatic, until she saw what it would cost her. For a moment she was sad, upset she wouldn’t be able to go to the school that seemed perfect for her. But as she continued to read, she discovered they handed out full scholarships too, as long as you were good enough. She was going to have work hard, she knew that, but it wasn’t exactly something new to her and thus Gracie decided to try out.

This is her second year at Grande, and much like last year, Gracie pretends to be someone she is not. No one at Grande knows she comes from a poor family, and she doesn’t plan on telling anyone any time soon either. They don’t have to know her mother is struggling to pay for the bills, and has three jobs to do so. She sometimes feels guilty about it, but then she reminds herself that everyone would probably ditch her if they’d know she wasn’t who she said she was.

❖ Aaron Ford is a P.A. non-scholar at the age of sixteen, and looks a lot like George Shelley.

I won’t lie, no, I’m not okay. You were wrong, you’re to blame.

❖ Information

Aaron has always been that quiet guy that keeps his head down and his eyes on his feet whenever he passes you in the hallways. No one ever pays much attention to the boy, and he wants to keep it that way. This is his first year at Grande and he doesn’t want to go through the same as the students at his school put him through before he came here. Aaron has been bullied his entire life, mainly because of his weight and even though he managed to lose most of it recently, he’s still scared people will find other things wrong with him. He’s paranoid, even though there’s no reason to be afraid, because the students at Grande actually quite like him. They describe him as the adorable one, and while he doesn’t speak much, some still wish to befriend him.

Ever since he was a little kid, Aaron has had a thing for performing on stage. Theatre was right up his alley, though he always dreamed of a career as singer. Despite all the compliments he receives, he doesn’t have much faith in himself nor his dream. His parents never encouraged him in it either, always telling him being famous isn’t for everyone and especially not for him. They want him to strive to be a lawyer or a doctor or anything else that will earn him a lot of money. Basically, they want him to take after them as they both started from scratch and now have successful jobs. However, they still allowed him to take courses in performing arts at Grande, not wanting to be those parents who forbid their children from doing things. They want him to be able to make his own choices, though they always make it very clear they aren’t too fond of his dream.

❖ Hayley Twist is a sports non-scholar at the age of fourteen, and looks a lot like Bella Thorne.

All I want is everything, yeah everything, too much is not enough.

❖ Information

She’s not all mean, this Hayley Twist everyone talks about. Sure she’s negative  most of the time but she has a fun side too. Loud and funny, even though most of the time her jokes make no sense, she makes people want to be friends with her. She is also sweet to the people she likes and loves hanging out with her friends and looks up to her mom. Unfortunately, she had a dark side. Hayley always seemed jealous. She was jealous of everyone’s friends, what they had, and how they look or how they are. Whenever that would happen, she would devise a plan unconsciously and ruin that person’s life. It’s in her nature and it made most of the people hate her. Her ‘victims’ would warn every new student about her, in a silent way, most of them failed to understand. There is only one warning they give to you when you become friends with her: be careful.

Being the only adopted daughter of a rich couple, Hayley grew up spoiled. They gave her everything she wanted, not understanding thay they had to discipline her as well. She was used to being treated like a princess and hated not getting what she wanted. The first time she heard about Grande, she wanted to audition. She did-but sadly, she failed. Hayley was mad at the judges for thinking she hadn’t had enough talent in performing arts or academics. Her parents cheered her up by sending her to school there so she didn’t have to audition again. People find it funny how she wants to be a scholar or get a scholarship in college when she can’t even pass the daily exams they gave. She gets mad whenever this happens but her parents comfort her, telling her that she was smarter than everyone else-it was the school’s fault they had given her too much pressure. Unfortunately, Hayley believed it and as much as she tries to study, she ends up getting below average grades.

Why Hayley turned into such a person? No one knows. She’s been that way ever since. Every year, she’d greet the people, who she bullied the previous year, as if they were best friends. It makes it hard to hate her. Hayley would also tell everyone and herself that she changed. Every year she would but she never did.

No one really knows her past. She would lie about it, like she always does. It’s pretty normal, really. She went to a normal school, normal life, minus the adopted and rich part. All we know is that she likes to lie about everything. She’d lie about her life-telling people she received two thousand dollars every month for allowance to travelling all over the world. None of them were true.

❖ Teresa Williams is a P.A. non-scholar at the age of fourteen, and looks a lot like Alli Simpson.

Are you happy now that you broke me down?

❖ Information

At first glance, Teresa might seem like one of those mean girls on t.v. who think they own the world and it revolves around them. She is not and is the absolute opposite of it. Sure she likes what every other teenage likes; swag, Justin Bieber, One Direction etc., but she is somehow different. It’s hard to explain her but she’s shy yet once you know her, you’ll love her. She is just like any other girl except she is a bit more interesting.

She is a normal student at Grande. Her parents were rich and they moved from Australia to U.S.A. and she hated the school at first but learned to get used to it. She was friends with Hayley Twist until she found out she was using her. Teresa was so mad at Hayley she refused to talk to her for five months but being her forgiving self, Teresa forgave her. Just like her best friend, she forgave but never forgot. During her first years, Teresa was an average student and even a failing one at times but ever since she realized how studying could give her a bright future, she asked to study with Trinity. They became closer and shared each other’s knowledge of whatever they had, they had differences, yes, but a lot of similarities too.

Not much is known about Teresa’s past but they knew she was betrayed. Everyone loves her because of her kindness and shyness. She likes to help a lot in the school now and likes to occupy herself with schoolwork. When she gets a chance, she hangs out with her friends and likes to talk to Trinity. Teresa forgives everyone for what they did to her but she never forgets.

Teresa was being used by Hayley. No one really knows why but Hayley admitted it later. She was so mad at her she became friends with Jenna Turner, another one of Hayley’s victim’s. Later on, she became good friends with Trinity whom people always confuse her with as a twin. Both of them aren’t interested in relationships although deep down inside, Teresa wants one badly.

❖ Hope Lockhart is a P.A. scholar at the age of seventeen, and looks a lot like Demi Lovato.

You only love to see me breakin’.

❖ Information

Hope was never anything special in the eyes of the other students at school, and she started to believe herself that maybe she was just an ordinary girl. A Plain Jane. No one ever paid much attention to her, and she didn’t do much to change that either. The only time they paid attention to the girl was whenever they needed help with assignments. It was the only thing she was good for, in their opinion. Many friends was something she never had either. She didn’t fit in anywhere, and while she wasn’t ugly, guys always fell for the more popular girls.

Mrs Williams worried a lot about her daughter who never took anyone home, or never went out when other people of her age did. Hope finally told her mother that things at school weren’t working out in her favour, that no one really liked her unless they needed to borrow her notes. Her mother pointed out to her she needed to make herself stand out if she wanted their attention, show her classmates more of herself. Hope was hesitant for a while, unsure if it would be a good idea to suddenly open up after all these years. But eventually she caved and signed up for the talents show. People didn’t expect much of it, but when she opened her mouth and started to sing, they were baffled. She was an amazing singer. More than amazing, even. Things finally seemed to be turning around for the girl. Maybe now they’d treat her as a normal student too.

But the next day at school, Hope found out that things weren’t going to get better. In fact, they only got worse. Some of the more popular kids were jealous of her, and started to pick on her, calling her all kinds of names. They claimed she was an attention seeker, and that she really wasn’t as good at singing as everyone told her. Hope, who was already insecure about herself, believed what they told her and started to retreat into herself again. But even after that, the bullying continued, and eventually her parents decided it was enough. They kept her at home and started to search for a new school. One where they didn’t have to worry about their daughter’s well-being.

They came across Grande Academy, and were impressed by the boarding school, encouraging their daughter to audition as they didn’t have the money to send her there. Hope hesitated. What if things would be the same at Grande as they were at her old school, and people would pick on her? Her parents eventually managed to convince her, and much to her own surprise she got accepted. Now she’s off for her first year at Grande with the doubts still in the back of her mind.

❖ Samantha Chase is a P.A. non-scholar at the age of sixteen, and looks a lot like Isabelle Fuhrman.

They say you shouldn’t try to be someone you’re not.

❖ Information

Samantha isn’t, and never has been, the daughter Mr and Mrs Chase had hoped for. The dolls they bought for her to play with were left untouched in the corner of her room as she’d rather go outside to play with the boys in her neighbourhood. Climbing trees, wrestling in the mud; those were more her kind of things. Her attitude was not something her parents could complain about. She was well-behaved, smiling politely at everyone, always saying please and thank you. It were the holes in her clothes, and the dirt stains that were almost impossible to remove, that drove them crazy. They couldn’t leave her out of their sight, not even for a couple of seconds, or she’d be covered in dirt again.

As she grew older, Samantha discovered her love for acting. Her parents were pleasantly surprised and relieved their daughter finally found something that didn’t have anything to do with getting dirty. When they found out about Grande, they thought it would be the perfect opportunity for her to develop her talent, and maybe herself as well. They’re secretly hoping Samantha will change her ways, and perhaps become a little more girl-like, like they’d hoped their daughter would be in the first place. By sending her to Grande, they’re praying her tomboy days will finally be over.

Unfortunately for them, Samantha overheard them talking about why else they were sending her off to Grande, and it made her furious. Why couldn’t they just accept her the way she was? There wasn’t anything wrong with her, was there? She was a normal kid, she just didn’t like the same stuff most girls her age did. But Samantha decided not to mention it to her parents. She wanted to go to Grande desperately. It was a good school, and she did want to develop her acting skills. But to change into the daughter her parents had always hoped for, that was something she definitely wasn’t going to do.

At the age of twelve, Samantha lost her best friend. They were both in the car with her friend’s mother, on their way home from school. It was winter, and the road was slippery. One moment they were talking about how they were going to spend their Christmas, the other moment she was surrounded by the sound of sirens and people talking to her, asking her all kinds question she couldn’t answer, because everything around her was a blur. She passed out another time, only to wake up at the hospital again later. Samantha doesn’t remember much of the accident, only that it took her best friend’s life, and that’s something she still struggles with from time to time.

❖ Derek Wills is a P.A. non-scholar at the age of seventeen, and looks a lot like Niall Horan.

You’ll never love yourself half as much as I love you.

❖ Information

Derek is the cool guy. People come to him for advice or just to hang out with him. He’s one of those guys that can calm you down in a second or make you laugh. Derek doesn’t like bullying-one thing he shares in common with a fellow friend, Carter, and stands up for people. He doesn’t trust too many people but loves having a lot of friends. Derek is friendly and will always welcome a new student into the school.

He loves music almost as much as he loves food. Derek may sometimes come off as a jerk because of the language he uses but he’s just joking. Having him as a friend will be something you will never regret. He’s such a funny and outgoing person it’s almost hard to know he has flaws too.

Derek struggles with his studies though he does try his best. He asks help from all the people in class and asks to re-take exams or get extra help from the teachers. One thing he excels at is music. It just comes out of him naturally. He doesn’t struggle with it the way he struggles with math or science, it just comes out of him. At first, he was very insecure about himself when he arrived at Grande but as the years passed by, he became confident.

Nothing different really happened in Derek’s life. Well, except for the fact that he currently lives with his step-mom. He avoids her as he doesn’t like her that much. She was strict and prejudiced to her real children, always blaming Derek and his sister, Elena, for every mistake. At the age of six, Derek’s mother passed away after a year or fighting cancer. He loved her so much, it was hard to let go of her. Her last words to him were to take care of the family. Derek keeps that promise to this day, and no matter how annoying she may be sometimes, Derek vowed to take care of Elena.

❖ Carter Jordan is a P.A. non-scholar at the age of eighteen, and looks a lot like Liam Payne.

I’ve heard it said that people come into our lives for a reason.

❖ Information

Know any of that really sweet boy who is so hard to get mad at? That’s Frederic Jordan. He is one hundred percent nice and hates making people sad. Freddie is in the Anti-Bullying program at school since he’s been through it before. He is always smiling and friendly and has an odd addiction to Toys and toys. The movie and toys. Girls find him very attractive and cute and they either refer to him as a crush or a brother.

He is a gentleman and likes to put himself before others. Freddie likes to play around with the instruments in the music class. He enrolled for singing though he is interested to learn instruments too. Fortunately, he knows a few chords on the guitar and knows a bit piano as well so he would learn from the others who knew how. Frederic is the head of the boys’ dorms and is the head of the discipline prefects.

Ever since he found out about his sister at the age of twelve, he’s been searching all over the internet for her-even going to the hospital to do some research. Once he found a picture of a girl on the Grande site, he felt some sort of connection to her and with deeper research he found out they were biologically related. Happy with what he found, he immediately set off for U.S. with his parents paying the expenses. Freddie came to her house and surprised her current guardians. They noticed him as the boy they used to take care of. That summer, they re-united with their parents. It’s been two years and the two have grown closer than ever.

❖ Allison Fields is a P.A. non-scholar at the age of eighteen, and looks a lot like Emma Watson.

How come she’s so afraid of falling in love?

❖ Information

Allison is one of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet at Grande, always willing to lend someone a hand when necessary. She hates seeing other people hurt, and would do anything to make them smile again, even when it’s a person she barely knows. Many are amazed by her attitude to people when they first meet her, though the ones that know her, aren’t so shocked by it anymore and find it normal for her to act the way she does. Yes, it’s rare to find someone that friendly, especially among teenagers, but they still exist and Allison is definitely an example of that.

But that not everything was good for Allison, is something not many people are aware of and she wants to keep it that way. While she grew up in a loving family who provided her everything she needed and wanted, there were people who hurt her too. One of them was her ex-boyfriend who took advantage of her good nature and cheated on her multiple times. She forgave him each and every time, except for the last time, when she finally broke things off. Her heart told her to do otherwise, stay with him, because he made her feel loved, but she knew she couldn’t. There was more hurt than love, and even though she misses him, she knows she made the right decision.

What Allison does now is to keep her head up, and keep a smile on her face, not letting anyone know that deep inside she’s hurt and lonely. But to give her heart to someone else is something she’s afraid of doing, because she can’t go through the same as her ex-boyfriend put her through. Allison pulled up a wall around herself, but most importantly, around her heart.

❖ Ashton Hill is a sports scholar at the age of eighteen, and looks a lot like Louis Tomlinson.

Rest assured, ‘cause dreams don’t turn to dust.

❖ Information

Ashton is an only child, which is why people always assume he gets everything he asks for, while the opposite is true. His parents taught him to appreciate everything in life, even the smallest things. They could be gone the next day without a notice, after all. He never asked for anything he didn’t need, and only used his money to buy the things that were necessary to have. Ashton is a very open-minded person as well, never judging anyone before he’d gotten to know them better. Sexuality, wealth, gender, it all doesn’t matter to him. As long as you are nice to him, he’s nice to you too.

When Ashton was seven years old, the Hill family immigrated to the States. The boy missed their home back in New Zealand, and all of his old friends too, though it didn’t take him too long to make new ones. The other kids were fascinated by his foreign accent, and that combined with his bright personality and the witty comments he made, caused Ashton to become one of the popular kids quickly. Soon he’d all forgotten about his old life.

But at his fifteenth, his parents told him he needed to challenge himself more. Ashton was the star of the local football team, and his grades were something to be proud of. One part of him knew his parents were right, while another part of him didn’t want to leave behind his friends and life for a second time. But eventually, he hesitantly agreed with them and that’s how he ended up at Grande where he has been a scholar for years now. He enjoys his time at the school, finally being challenged to work harder to maintain his grades, but there are times he misses everyone back home.

What most people don’t know is that Ashton prefers acting and singing over football, but his dad disagreed with him and his mother told the boy to listen to his father. He still loves sports with his whole heart, but a part of him will always be wondering what it would’ve been like if he would have gone against his parents and followed his dreams.

❖ Secret

Everyday, he sneaks out to the theatre to sing. It’s his way of being who he is. He is scared his parents will find out what he has been doing, cause they want him to play sports and earn good grades his whole life. He doesn’t want that. He wants to be a singer.
